A Northern Saw-whet Owl 0924-03603 banded at Selkirk as a Hatch-year Female on October 26/2004 was recovered near Sudbury, Massachesetts (422-0711) October 30, 2006.

- Haldimand Bird Observatory
- Established in 1996, Haldimand Bird Observatory operates three stations: Selkirk Provincial Park, Rock Point Banding Station (both on the north shore of Lake Erie) and Ruthven Park near Cayuga, Ontario. In spring, banding and a daily census are done from approximately the third weekend in March to the first weekend in June and, in fall, from the third weekend in July to the first weekend in November.
