Despite less than favourable weather conditions this morning--cool, breezy and fresh snow--a good early April day at Selkirk.

Banded: MODO 2, EAPH 3, BRCR 3, GCKI 34, ATSP 1, SOSP 2, SWSP 1, SCJU 3, AMGO 1= 50.

I managed to open half the nets this morning, the others were welded shut (by this she means frozen shut). There was a bit of a snow shower about 10 o'clock, and with it a flurry of bird activity.
Banded 25 as follows: 2 MODO, 1 DOWO, 2 BCCH, 1 BRCR, 10 GCKI, 1 ATSP, 3 SCJU, 5 AMGO, Plus 15 retraps.
